Share your journey of getting off gas or making your home more energy efficient and help others with their next steps by opening your house for Sustainable House Day, Sunday 4 May 2025.

You set the tour times and number of people in each tour. Clean Energy Nillumbik can assist with volunteers for the day and put you in touch with homeowners who've done it before.

Hear how other local people have kicked goals in making their homes more comfortable to live in and less expensive to operate.

Renew will be taking bookings for house tours and there will be a charge of $8.50 per tour to cover their costs of organising the nationwide event.

Volunteer on the day

Volunteers make Sustainable House Day fabulous!

They support home owners, greet visitors and chat with them while they wait for their tours to start. They provide information about other events and opportunities for energy efficiency. Some share their EV driving and charging experiences with waiting visitors.
